Nevermore, Yet Again
Nevermore, Yet Again is an ongoing analogue photography project exploring the emotional space between separation and return. Rather than describing specific events, the photographs materialize states of memory, intimacy and longing, where reality gradually gives way to metaphor.
Working with medium-format film, muted colour palettes and chromatic metaphors, the project moves between documentary observation and contemporary pictorialism. The images do not seek definitive answers but remain open, allowing viewers to bring their own experiences into the work.
At its core, the project reflects on relationships interrupted by distance, circumstance or choice, and on the possibility that time changes not only memory but also the way we understand one another. What once seemed final may return in an unexpected form—not as repetition, but as recognition, acceptance and a different way of seeing.
